All I can say is that the world is a very strange place when a book this bad gets so many good reviews. Forget Trump being elected or the UK voting for Brexit. This is truly bizarre.Normally I like to give some detail but it's hard to find anything to say about such a shallow piece of rubbish. The story was boring and predictable. The characters were one-dimensional. The sex scenes were about as sexy as listening to the long range weather forecast. I simply cannot think of one good thing to say about this book and can only assume that there is some sort of joke going on with the good reviews.
Oh.My.Fu****g book hangover! *stomping my foot like a 4 year old* I don't know how I'll survive until the next book.The author delivered a kick butt story as usual. The book just sucked you in and wouldn't let go. I read it in one gulp.I highly recommend this book.
4-4.5 Stars for Book 1 in The Alpha Brothers series by G Bailey! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars is because some scenes felt a little rushed/lacked detailed which would have elevated it to my top rating. Besides that, one of my favs of G Bailey's.In this new series, we get to meet Elodie and she is the scum of her pack because she has no claim and cannot shift. She is kidnapped from her pack and given this new life in the pack of the Alpha Brothers. I love how different each of the brothers are and have a soft spot for the younger ones (nothing wrong with Alpha, but he makes a stupid decision I know he will regret for awhile). I loved seeing Elodie get to experience different things she never had a chance to do. Loved the side scenes, like with the dead horses (they are alive but dead, don't think I am weird please!), the library, the necklace/charm, etc. I liked the twists in this book and am excited to see where G Bailey goes with the story in Book 2 in January (which cant come soon enough!!). I am intrigued by the new characters introduced at the end with the other pack and wonder how they will play with the Alpha Brothers.I will say that there were some dark moments in it, which I like seeing G Bailey go outside of her comfort zone, but I think it could have been pushed more if some of those scenes added some more detail or feelings from the characters. I hope we get more POVs in Book 2, loved getting to see the Alpha Brothers interact with each other in their minds.Definitely recommend this series, already preordered Book 2! I need to know what happens next, especially with River, Elodie, and the Alpha Brothers â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Paranormal. Rh. 3 Alpha Shifters. Slave heroine. When Elodie's pack is talen over by the 3 Alpha Brothers, she is taken with them to be theirs to shared and used. Fast paced. Hot steamy scenes. Very Intresting story line. I feel like this could even be a standalone and it be a good ending. Recommended read.
I love G. Bailey and if you love her books and are not already stalker her then type in her name and start following.This book is another "give me more" at the end. I love how the story unfolds right in front of you as you keep turning those pages. Elodie starts off as a submissive individual with no confidence or care of herself, and when 3 alpha's who were believed to be the end of her turn out to just unleash her inner goddess tumble in her life, I couldn't put this book down. I am not going to ruin this book by telling you anymore but this is a must read! Follow G. Bailey on FB and be the first to know on all her upcoming books.
This book was amazing!! It may even be my favorite from G. Bailey! This is a much darker read out of all of G. Bailey’s books that I have read.I loved El as a female lead. Her acceptance of her life as a slave and potential death broke my heart but brought admiration from me as well. She’s an emotionally strong woman who deals with whatever crappy situation life throws her way. The Alpha Brothers are HOTT but I definitely wanted to castrate Alpha towards the end. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment of this series!!! Amazing work G!!!
I absolutely love the strength of the main character. This book was a really fast paced but very dark read. It also may have some tigger points for certain people. But I loved it
