I like the concept and it has some good advice but it’s not very well written. Super repetitive and doesn’t flow very well.

The House of Arden is a lesser known book of Nesbit's, and Harding's Luck is a companion work that is perhaps even less recognized.That is truly a pity, for in these books you'll find the delightful magic of Five Children and It or The Enchanted Castle along with the heartwarming courage and family loyalty of The Railway Children. Add in time travel to other periods of history and encounters with a few key figures (Sir Walter Raleigh, Henry VIII, etc.) of those times, and you have an almost perfect combination of adventure, magic, and pure fun! You will want to read The House of Arden first, but by all means, don't miss this treasure, which completes the story!Richard Arden was a rather minor character in The House of Arden, but we meet him in Harding's Luck as Dickie Harding, a poor lame boy in the tenements of London who is brought up and mistreated by his "aunt" after his father's death. His only comfort is a silver rattle, the family treasure, that his father gave him before he died. Through a series of unusual circumstances, Dickie finds that his "Tinkler," his name for the silver rattle, and a few other special items can transport him to 300 years in the past where he is the son of a wealthy lord and no longer lame. He loves the past times and would like to stay there, but promises he made in the present (early 1900's) draw him back to his own times where he helps a friend leave a life of begging and finds his true place in the House of Arden. In his adventures, both in the past and present, Dickie encounters Edred and Elfrida Arden (whom we know from The House of Arden). Edred and Elfrida become true friends and playmates (something he had not known as a poor beggar), and though their magic has ended, Dickie takes them with him to past times, and all the children have further opportunity to act honorably for the House of Arden.So why not 5 stars instead of 4? It takes several chapters for the action to pick up, and the dialect makes reading aloud a challenge, as well as being difficult for children to understand if reading on their own. Anyone who has read The House of Arden, however, will be interested enough to persevere through the slower parts and the dialect, for those loose threads that seemed undone when the first book ended, are neatly wrapped up in this companion piece.

This 2016 CreateSpace edition, with the drawing of the boy and shopkeeper on front, is an edition made cheap by printing in tiny type to lower the page count. At my age, I can't read it comfortably, so I'm returning it. What I've learned: With a public domain book like this, check the Look Inside to make sure it's readable. A very shoddy production.

Many of Edith Nesbit's books are not so much novels as they are sequences of shorter stories (perhaps they were published, or meant to be read, serially?) Harding's Luck and its companion, The House of Arden, have far more complex and interwoven plots. The events in the lighter House of Arden form only a part Harding's Luck, as Dickie is a much fuller character than Edred and Elfrida. They must have been plotted together, as each contains references to the other.As in The Psammead and the Carpet, there are numerous instances of Nesbit's socialist views (not in the modern sense of big government, more along the lines of GK Chesterton's definition "A socialist is a man who wants all the chimneys swept and all the chimney sweeps paid for it."). Children will never notice these; adults may find them sweet but sadly naive.In their richness of plot and character, and in the sense of something deeper and truer lurking behind the superficial magic, these two are probably the crown of Nesbit's work. Givn the fact that the paperback copy of Harding's Luck costs $10, it's worthwhile to shell out another $7 for the hardback, so you'll have it longer.

Harding's Luck is a fast-paced British children's fantasy tale. It can stand on its own, but is better read following House of Arden. In addition to typical suspense and escapades found in children's fantasy, this book incorporates significant themes of honor and commitment. I had read it many years ago and even so, it kept me up very late as a page-turner.

This was a great book. I read it first and then gave it to my 10 yr. old daughter. Both the House of Arden and Harding's Luck are worth reading.

I read The House of Arden as a child but didn't know about this sequel. I have always loved E Nesbitt and this is no exception. A cracking good story.

Those readers who are baffled by The House of Arden's plot holes will find some answers in this sequel. Unfortunately it's rather maudlin and not nearly as fun.

This is truly a magical book. In the late 80s I met a Rastafarian who was a DJ at a local station. The day we met he had this book and we used to look at it and partake of the sacrament while listening to tapes of his show containing tons of heavy dub music. Eventually we lost touch and I moved away and one day I was sitting around thinking of my Rasta friend. Naively I tried to send out a message to him psychically, hoping that if he could hear me to send me a sign. The very next day a friend of mine came over to my house and he goes "Hey, have you ever seen this book before?" Totally blown away by the synchronicity.I love the truly spiritual nature of this book, Artistically it is striking, colorful, and most certainly conveys a number of deep insights into the Rastafarian faith. It is not as much a historical book as it is an expression of the truly unique nature of Rastafarianism from the perspective of a very dedicated adherent. A truly wonderful book.

this book is truly living. the first time i saw it i realized i had to own a copy. beautiful photographs printed on quality paper; pictures that actually live and breathe, and words that sing themselves off the pages. after "stumbling" upon this book twice in my travels and actually having an opportunity to read it once through before i obtained my own copy, i began to feel dreadlocks growing from the top of my head. since i purchased mine from amazon.com i've read it several times and use it as a reference and meditation guide. i am never without it in my journeys. i recommend itations to any one interested in rastafarianism, one love, world peace and unity; to anyone with dreadlocks or even thinking of cultivating them this book will begin to show you what it is all about. from the heart- Jah Rastafari!

THIS BOOK IS FULL OF PRETTY PICTURES THAT GIVE YOU THE FEELING THAT YOUR RIGHT THERE IN JAMAICA. ONE THING I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK IS HOW LITTLE INFORMATION IT HAD IN IT. THERE WERE SECTIONS IN THERE THAT WERE VERY INFORMATIVE BUT IT WAS PREDOMINATELY A PICTURE BOOK. Dalton Conley is a professor of sociology at Princeton University. In 2005, Conley became the first sociologist to win the prestigious National Science Foundation's Alan T. Waterman Award, which honors an outstanding young U.S. scientist or engineer. He writes for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Nation, Slate, and Forbes. DO NOT RENT THIS BOOK!!! unless of course you're fine with paying this price for a book that doesn't have all the content you may need. I tried to take an accelerated (half a semester) online sociology course with this book and nearly failed. It only goes to chapter 10. I blame Amazon 100% for this misunderstanding. Otherwise I'm sure this is a great book. The chapters I did get to read were actually very interesting and enlightening. Dalton Conley knows what he's talking about, and I'm sad I have to give this such a low rating.

I loved this book. I read literally every page and I enjoyed doing so. My professor recommended reading each chapter before class, which I did. The book uses excellent examples to explain concepts and ideas and does so in an entertaining way. There are also online resources available through the book's website with links on the pages throughout the chapter. The book certainly helped me understand the course material very well and I didn't have to do anything during class. I had to purchase the book as I needed web access. The book is slightly smaller than the typical textbook size so reading it felt like reading a novel, which made getting through the chapters feel quicker as well.

This product is a scam - DO NOT BUY.Absolute rip-off. I bought this as a digital text book and noticed that even though the ISBN is an exact match to the one required for my class, it only contains half the material that I need.

ITS MISSING 8 CHAPTERS ! IF YOU NEED THIS BOOK FOR COLLEGE THIS IS THE WRONG ONE !!!!

In case you don't this already, Dalton Conley is a genius. This is an incredibly thoughtful textbook. It is a history, a philosophy and a textbook of sociology. Any general reader interested in sociology can read this. It's full of pictures and other visual mnemonics. Great book. I learned some crucial things from it.

Had to use this Textbook for a Sociology 101 Class. This has to be one of the most unique textbooks I have ever read, and one of my most enjoyable too! The text was easy to comprehend, Dalton Conley is very articulate as an author, and I especially enjoyed his commentary on capitalism and gender. I also enjoyed how colorful the textbook is; there are many pictures, and helpful hints that make sure you have grasped the sociological concept that Conley is trying to bring across, with helpful "quiz-like" questions at the end of each chapter to make sure that you are on track to progress! There are also online resources for this book, which our teacher took advantage of immensely. i recommend that you do the same, as they helped reinforce my knowledge of prominent people in the study of sociology, and also to help me ace my exams in class. This is seriously the best "Un-Textbook" that I have ever read.

Very new and the online code is included.

I initially purchased the e-book for 50 dollars thinking that it would have the access code. I had to go online to purchase access instead (which was around 20 dollars for a year of access). SO I returned the initial ebook and rented it digitally for 120 days instead (cheaper). The ebook had all the required chapters. And other than not having the access code its an alright book. I have no issue with the book itself, just that this post did not indicate if you get the access which is probably the most important detail.

I actually love the book, but there is a big mistake. The number 1 is not a prime number! The book should not be sold like this and needs to be reprinted.

I will be returning the copy that I purchased for my granddaughter. I love the concept of starting her on mathematics very early; however, when the book arrived, and I reviewed the content I was disappointed to see the significant error on prime numbers. For those parents out there reading this book with your little ones, please be aware that the number 1 is NOT a prime number as indicated in this book. As a former 8th grade math teacher, I can tell you that once a student learns a concept incorrectly it is extremely difficult to help them unlearn and relearn the correct information.

Love this book! Purchased a few for upcoming Christmas presents. One is no longer listed as a prime number, so no sharpie needed after all. Give the gift of math interest!

This book is great! There are three stages of info for each letter: 1. The letter and term, 2. A brief description of the term, 3. More in depth information. All with decreasing font size and boldness. The terms are really well described and simple yet factual. Some of the other books by this author are too simplistic and become inaccurate. The ABC series does not have this problem. Accuracy and simplicity!

 Bought this for my children to be (triplets) and was thumbing through it. Noticed this printing error (see video). And for some reason the return window on this product has closed. Very disappointed. No apparent recourse path.

My 3 month old LOVES this book! We read it to him almost every month. We love the 3 levels of information. Sometimes he wants the simple text and other days we can read the next level down. The bright colors hold his attention! Great book!

It was okay- I was so excited to read it to my niece and was disappointed by the time I got to letter C. I feel like there was way more potential. Some of the pictures could have been more interesting/exciting and some of their choices for for the letters felt unusual. Mathematics is beautiful and this books still makes it feel boring. It's okay, but I was expecting more.

Awesome! I gave this book to a fellow engineer for his new baby. He LOVED them also! As a former educator, I highly recommend introducing your little ones to these advanced concepts at a very young age! They break down the concepts so that even Mom & Dad will understand! Lol! They are hard board (not bored!) books. So they are great for babies too! I LOVE them!

As hard as it is to believe, I was just diagnosed with Huntington's a few weeks ago. July 23rd, 2015. I went to the HDSA website to figure out the full ramifications of what that meant. They had an article about Lisa's novel. I immediately ordered it and it is an accurate description of my life. I'm 63 and had been showing some signs of chorea and some memory problems for about 4 years. 2 years ago I was diagnosed by my PCP and neurologist after getting an MRI in Florida as having "a chorea" but definitely not Parkinson's. They were both baffled and never mentioned HD. I moved to California last year and my new neurologist eventually said I might have Huntington's and I got a DNA blood test. (41 CAG repeats in HD language.) I knew nothing about "prodone" until I read Lisa's book. It explained a lot about my entire adult life and gave me an invaluable new perspective on my mother's "mental illness's." I'm actually relieved with this diagnosis because I finally have answers as to why I'm like I am. I have found a great local support group and am also getting on a list for any future clinical trials. I live by myself with my dog. I can still take care of myself and am able to drive. I figure I have at least 5 to 10 years minimum and totally optimistic that there will be drugs developed in my lifetime that will slow or halt the progression of this awful disease. And maybe even a cure. I am so grateful to Lisa Genova for writing this book and the serendipitous way it appeared the week I needed it most.

I liked the story behind the O'Brien family which is about how this family is affected by Huntington's Disease which is just a cruel and heartless disease. You just feel so sorry for them all and what their lives are becoming and will become because of this disease. They are a close knit, loving family which I really liked and the author wrote of them very lovingly. The author certainly did her research in explaining the symptoms of this disease. Although I did not like the ending and felt there was more to the story that could have been written I would still recommend this book. I love the writing style of this author Lisa Genova and have read some of her others books such as Still Alice, which I highly recommend. I do plan on reading more books from this author.

Compassion for humankind is what Genova seeks ,and this book offers the setting in which to practice it. The O'Briens, the entire family, are individually introduced to Huntington's Disease. First, one of Boston's Finest, develops its strange symptoms and discovers cholera and other behaviors are to worsen until his early death. That news is not the worst. He learns the disease is genetic and his grown kids have a 50/50 chance of developing the same gene. He feels responsible.Would you want to take a test to tell you your future? Each of the four offspring struggles and decides.One can feel nothing but compassion for this Irish Catholic family who have worked hard and have a dreadful future. This disease, like many others, is truly unfair. I particularly became attached to Joe during the story, and literally held my breath while watching the disease take over, but not destroy, his life.Genova again has written a thoroughly excellent book . It will stay with me. The disease, though, must expunged!

I worked with a Huntington's patient in a hospital setting while I was still a practicing registered nurse--it was a soul crushing experience.The entire time I was reading this novel, all I could think about was that poor woman, in the final stages of her disease, trying to stand so we could get her into her wheelchair. Chorea looks alien. Joints aren't supposed to move the way hers were moving. She was trying so hard to talk to her daughter, but her mouth was incapable of making any words...only grunts. That woman had a profound effect on my entire nursing career. I know she's likely no longer living, but I still find myself wondering if she is alive, how is she doing? Were her children HD gene positive? Did that awful gene die with her?This novel was like that nursing experience...I have no doubt it will have a profound effect on me for years to come.It wasn't Ms. Genova's finest work...that honor goes to Still Alice, but it was an excellent, character-driven novel. If you go into this book expecting an action-packed drama, you're going to be unhappy. This book deals more with the internal dialogue of each family member, particularly Joe and Katie, as they deal with Joe's diagnosis and what it means for each of them and their family.At it's heart, this book is about choices. I was truly a bit surprised by how little Huntington's disease, and it's affects on the body, was actually discussed. Having just finished Every Note Played, also by Lisa Genova, where the reader gets down and dirty with ALS, I was expecting, well, more.Not going to lie...although I understand why the author concluded the book like she did, I was disappointed. Nevertheless, if you have enjoyed other Genova novels, you'll enjoy Inside the O'Briens as well.3.5 stars

My husband passed away 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 49 from HD. Our daughters were elementary age when we were given the results over the phone (not the way it should be done). My husband's family had no idea HD was in their family genetics. I truly appreciate that an author researched and wrote what each family member experiences. Our daughters lost their father at the ages of 16 and 18. Both girls talk about getting tested. I pray much like Joe each day in hope that they both have negative results.

I chose this book sight unseen because it included the Marquesas which weren't mentioned in the descriptions of most other guides. I cruised the islands on the Tahitian Princess. For each island stop this book was accurate. I followed several tips that maximized the onshore experience.Most of the islands in French Polynesia are not heavily developed or populated. If you are thinking about a land based vacation I recommend this book because the description of each island and its facilities should give you a feeling of whether you will enjoy your vacation.

My husband and I travelled to Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea and Bora Bora. This book was fantastic! I usually only use Lonely Planet tour books when we travel - but I have to say this book was 5 times better than the Lonely Planet Tahiti book! Every island we went to this book directed us to little travelled - non touristy places and we feel we really got to know the islands! I highly reccommend it!

Interesting but not what I was looking for. Guess I need more of a current travel brochure/guide.

I bought this book for an upcoming honeymoon to Moorea and Bora Bora and wanted something on hand at the islands I could refer to. But most of the information you find in this book, you could find on the internet at a site like tripadvisor or something similar. I really wanted to use this book for good snorkeling spots/hiking spots and activities. This book would be worth it if it had pictures of the various sites or even just the most recommended sites to see. But unfortunately it doesn't. For example, if it had a dive/snorkel spot in tahiti and showed the picture featured on the cover, that would have been excellent. Except this book has no pictures and would describe it as something like "this is a popular snorkeling spot with nice corals and some fish". Words cannot properly describe the scene on the cover. The book covers most of the islands in the french polynesia which is why I imagine there are no pictures in the book (probably would have been too expensive to print) But in any case, I would skip the book and have just stuck to researching information online.

I didn't care for the layout of the book. Was difficult to use while on the go. Could use better maps.

I don't think you could find a better overall travel guide for Polynesia. It covers every aspect of travel throughout themany islands and atolls of the huge French Polynesian area.

This was quite helpful on our trip to Tahiti and the SouthPacific islands. Wonderful time and would love to revisit.

I was blown away by those volumes, but this one affected me emotionally, even more so than those two.It's at once alternate history,an anthropormics comic, a character study, a meditation on the role of the arts in creating and reflecting society...and more . WAY more. To call this "layered" or "textured" does not do it justice.I really do not want to get to specific about the plot. Describing scenes removed from context cannot convey why they are so powerful, but being pre described can ruin them for other readers, who read reviews to decide on what to spend their limited dollars. I will say that I wholeheartedly recommend this book.Some great one-liners ; here's just a (very) few I especially liked :"...an enemy is what we call people who get in our way""...you do not fight battles because you expect to win. You fight them merely because they need to be fought.""A man can't pretend forever. ..He must be the man he is or forever become the mask assigned to him"."Keep a relationship in a box and it becomes a coffin"."In the end , any culture worth a damn is made by subversives. Because art is telling the world that it needs to change. Power merely redecorates it.""There is no greater tragedy in life than to die a stranger to yourself".Some nice little touches, like the claw polish on Lila's claws. Or the look on McGraw's face when he meets Hound jr. Or the Garst Cornfield War.Gorgeous clean realistic art, good portrayal of fifties fashions and interiors.There is a scene towards the end of the book, set in a hospital room, in which we see an old black and white photgraph. That page is now the second-greatest page of comic art from the 21st century that I've seen. (*And the very greatest coincidentally also stars a large talking cat.) But the very greatest scene, wonderful though it is, did not make me drop the book in shock and make my eyes sting.Minor criticisms: Some of the real historical people I didn't find recognizable. Marilyn Monroe didn't look much like her, IMO. I guess Clint is Clint Eastwood, but is Marion someone I should recognize? Or those people in the photograph Allen shows Snagglepuss at the Algonquin meeting? And I do NOT like Officer McGraw's design : I think just giving him hands a la Bojack would have worked better.In the end, the book leaves me with a sense of melancholy and disquiet . Not just because of what happens to Snagglepuss and Huckleberry Hound and Officer McGraw, because of the choices they made. Russell gives Snagglepuss the best one-liners on the role of the arts and of artists. And the USSR's attempts to propagandize its people via "socialist realism" didn't exactly create masterpieces. But Gigi Allen is not a fool or a caricatured villian. She raises important questions : CAN a country survive without a shared culture? What if "subversive elements" are deliberately holding a country's culture up to ridicule? Look at the online comments on any news site for a possible answer. I see nothing there any more but mutual loathing and contempt. What if anything can do done is for each individual reader to decide for him- or herself.On a personal note: As a child, I never was a big fan of Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, or Quickdraw McGraw. I watched them because I watched anything animated, but I was more into the Warner Brothers classics, the Flintstones, and the Jetsons . (I also watched Scooby Doo even though I hated it, because I convinced myself that sooner or later they would throw in a show with a REAL ghost, or vampire, or werewolf, or whatever.) But I recall getting into an argument back in 1971-1972/ 2nd grade, over the burning question : Is Snagglepuss an African lion or a mountain lion? I held out for mountain lion, despite cogent arguments for him being a maneless African lion ("You're stupid!" "No, YOU'RE stupid!") But early in the book, Snagglepuss describes his childhood self as a kit, not a cub. That settles it : He's a mountain lion. But since he was born in Mississippi, that means he's most likely a Puma concolor cougar, a Florida panther. Which means he's LITERALLY a pink panther!*(The very greatest scene in 21st century comic art-? The one in Saga (issue 14) , in which Sophie discusses her past with Lying Cat. )

This was INCREDIBLY written. Of all the Hanna Barbera (I hope I spelled that right) DC remakes or retellings, this is the best of them all. The illustrations are amazing and it's both hilarious and thought provoking to think about famous cartoon characters lives before they were... well... famous cartoons. Unapologetically picks are social issues of both the time it takes place and how little things have changed in terms of the justice system, freedoms, and identity. Buy it. Read it. Love it. You won't regret it.

I don't usually go for crossovers, but I kept reading about how good this book was. So I decided to pick it up. I wasn't expecting much deep emotion from something Hanna Barbara related, but that's exactly what I found. I was also pleasantly surprised at how characters were intertwined with real life events.

This is the best law school text book I have read. It is well edited and written for students. The problems in the book are on point, make sense, and you know the answer if you read the case. The cases chosen were really interesting and made the reading interesting. I highly suggest this textbook! And no, I have never written a review for a textbook before, this just happened to be especially good and worth five minutes to let you know!

I've never written a review before for a casebook, but this one was by far the best in my law school experience (Not that as a student you'll have any choice in the matter). This book has a ton of great problems, and my professor also provided us with the answers, which were the most valuable study guide. Very reader centric. Great explanations on various doctrines and FREs in between cases.

Not bad, not my favorite subject but the book will serve its purpose adequately. Make sue you keep the rules of evidence handy when reading from this book.

This book sucks . The problems are terrible and the answers are lost in the reading . Poorly written and even more poorly put together

It is well written and contains plenty of practice problems, which has helped me understand many of the Federal rules of Evidence with "ease".

One of the best textbooks I have ever used. The quiz questions at the end of a section really help one learn the subject.

Karissa moved to the small town to have a better life for her, her daughter with her best friend. Her ex-husband has done some bad things and isn't about to let them go. When Ray bumps into Karissa and her daughter he can't stop thinking about her. They start seeing each other and he loves her daughter things seem to be looking up for Karissa. Until her daughter tells her that she saw daddy outside her school. Is her ex in town? Can Ray protect them all?This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

If you like mountain man romances, you will enjoy this book. The characters are interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Karissa and Ray. Karissa moved to town to get away from her ex-husband who was an abusive alcoholic and was in trouble for stealing money for his gambling. Karissa moved with her best friend and her daughter Malorie. One day she was going into the hardware store and ran into Ray. Ray lived on the mountain and only came to town when he needed something and kept mostly to himself. Ray had moved to town after his brother was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Ray had enough of people and now just wanted to be alone. When they saw each other a few days later, Ray helped Karissa when she fell and he asked her to go for a drink. They spent the day together until she had to get her daughter from daycare and Ray asked her out for the next night. Karissa agreed to the date and they had a great time. They began seeing each other and things were going well until her ex found her and threatened them all. I really loved this story. I love how Karissa helped heal Ray and brought him back to life. I think she showed him he had a reason to go on living and not just hiding out on the mountain. I love how protective Ray was of Karissa and Malorie. I think they were great together. Well done.

Karissa, her daughter and best friend move away from the big city to a small town in the mountains. Karissa's move is to get away from her abusive ex husband and to give Malorie a safe place to grow up. Life is slowly getting into a routine and adjustment is going really well.Ray moved to the same small town a couple of years ago. He is also running from demons of his past and city life. Known as the town loner, he enjoys his mountain escape. Ray never thought he would find someone to connect with and maybe share his life. Karissa never planned to get involved with someone, but Ray's kindness and strength were her undoing.Chloe Morgan's stories are always an enjoyable read. The men are usually show a very tough outside, but are usually teddy bears on the inside. They show that it is ok to be human and vulnerable. The connection between the characters are great and some of the side characters bring additional humor and humanity to the story. It was a great read and I would recommend this book and other stories she has written.I received an ARC for a fair and honest review.

Yummy Mountain Man Goodness.Ms. Chloe Morgan sure knows how to craft a great romance. Single Mother, Karissa and her beautiful four year old, Malorie, have come to this small town to escape a horrible man... Her Ex. Relocating with her best friend was meant to bring them peace. Running into Ray, local (loner) mountain man, was just a bonus and just reiterates how a man is supposed to treat a lady. Lucky for her, Karissa is his lady of choice. As they start to build a real relationship, her Ex shows up to ruin everything. Or will he? Can these two characters get their happily ever after and build a Family of their own? Find out here in this fantastic release. Trust that Ms. Morgan never disappoints.I voluntarily requested an advanced reader's copy of Mountain Man's Girl in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Morgan.

A good short read that gets right to the point and a perfect read for a break. Karissa moves to a small town with her daughter, Malorie and best friend to get away from her ex. She literally bumps into Ray in town and is immediately attracted to the man and it helps that Malorie is at ease around him from the get go. When she bumps into him again she can’t resit his offer and are soon togther, but her ex has other ideas...will Ray get there in time.A good short read with steam, a bit of suspense and a read that doesn’t waste any time. I liked these two and the no drama between them or others getting in the way. I also like how Malorie accepted Ray and how Karissa was at ease with him right away as well. The best friend was amazing that added a bit of humour in the read too.*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

Oh man! Talk about steam. Chloe definitely doesn't leave us hanging with this little jewel. We have it all the hot, spicy mix that tingles all the way to our toes. Chloe pulls us into this amazing storyline with an incredible plot that brings all of your emotions into play front and center. All the trials and tribulations our main characters suffer through find a little sunshine in a most unlikely place. Their chemistry is instant, intense and palpable. Twists and turns along with a few glitches and scrapes really bring this baby roaring to life beautifully. The characters and scenes are written with such are written with such realism it pulls this little treasure together flawlessly. Amazing job Chloe, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advanced Reader Copy of this story.
